(May 23, 2023) — Haddam Killingworth High School scored thirteen runs in the first two innings and then closed out Nathan Hale-Ray in five innings with a 14-2 win on May 22, 2023, in a Shoreline Conference quarterfinal matchup. Keira Czarkowski had a home run and a two-run single for three RBIs.
HK Pitcher Kaleigh Bodak had two hits and three RBI, and picked up her 14th win of the season. AB Zajac had two hits for the Cougars and scored three runs. Maggie Jenecek had an RBI triple for the Noises. HK is now 15-5 and plays a semi-final SLC game on May 23rd at Lyme-Old Lyme.
