(May 16, 2023) — Haddam Killingworth High School’s Kaleigh Bodak pitched a one-hit shutout over the six innings mercy rule on May 15, 2023. She had eight strikeouts with no walks. Keira Czarkowski had four hits and two RBI for the Cougars. Also, Bella Richwine and Grace Natanzon each had two hits and two RBI. E. Joval had East Hampton’s only hit, a single to right field. HK is now 12-5 while East Hampton falls to 5-10.
