Brandon Novak, 22, of Beaver Meadow Road, Higganum, was arrested on an arrest warrant stemming from an alleged domestic disturbance at his residence on Dec. 30, 2018. Novak was charged with Strangulation 3rd degree, Unlawful restraint 2nd degree, Assault 3rd degree, False statement, Criminal mischief 3rd degree and Disorderly conduct. Novak was held on a $100,000 cash/surety bond and to appear at Middlesex Superior Court on January 4, 2019.
