Winter tips for senior citizens:
- Stay hydrated; add a slice lemon or lime to water.
- Eat a variety of food, especially fruits and vegetables.
- Stay active — take a walk. If inclement weather, walk in the house.
- Connect with others –- call a friend, have lunch at the Haddam Senior Center, or attend a Club 60 meeting.
- Wash your hands.
- De-stress –- reduce time spent watching news.
