Haddam Senior Corner: Winter Tips for Seniors

Winter tips for senior citizens:

  • Stay hydrated; add a slice lemon or lime to water.
  • Eat a variety of food, especially fruits and vegetables.
  • Stay active — take a walk. If inclement weather, walk in the house.
  • Connect with others –- call a friend, have lunch at the Haddam Senior Center, or attend a Club 60 meeting.
  • Wash your hands.
  • De-stress –- reduce time spent watching news.
