Haddam Senior and Social Services: August 2023 Update

(September 13, 2023) — The following programs serviced the community during the month of August 2023. The Social Services report includes totals for the Municipal Agent. 

Senior and Social Services: 

Haddam Emergency Food Bank serviced a total of 91 adults and 26 children; in addition to food, Haddam Emergency Food Bank serviced one family with a gift card to local restaurants and/or grocery stores in town. 

Haddam Emergency Fuel Bank serviced no families with fuel assistance in August: 0 – Oil, 0- Electricity, 0- Pellets, 0- Propane 

Haddam Senior and Social Services serviced four individuals with paperwork assistance.

Haddam Social Services/Clothing Bank serviced sixty-five individuals with clothing.

Haddam Social Services did no wellness checks for August 2023. 

Senior Van: 

The Senior Van serviced a total of seven medical appointments for the month of August 2023, and an average of three seniors attended the weekly shopping trip for August 2023. 

Haddam Senior Center:

Open fourteen days for the month of August. 

The Haddam Senior Center distributed 93 CRT meals for the month of August 2023 and had 220 visitors at the Senior Center.
