(November 13, 2023) — On November 19, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Haddam Girl Scouts will be at Higganum Village Market collecting food for their annual Thanksgiving Drive. People can drop off food, make monetary donations, which will be used to purchase food at the end of the drive, or purchase items at Higganum Village Market using the list below of food items the Scouts are hoping to collect:
·         Turkey (10-12 pounds)
·         Stuffing
·         Potatoes
·         Sweet Potatoes (Fresh or Canned)
·         Canned or Fresh Vegetables (Green Beans, Carrots, Corn)
·         Cranberry Sauce
·         Cream of Mushroom Soup
·         French Fried Onions
·         Gravy
·         Butter
·         Chicken Broth
·         Cookie Mix or Brownie Mix
·         Pie Crust
·         Pumpkin Pie Filling
·         Crescent Rolls/Rolls
·         Hot Chocolate or Tea
