The Free Food Scrap recycling program for all Haddam residents started December 8, 2021 at the Transfer Station, at 750 Saybrook Road. Special free Food Scrap Only passes for those with private haulers are now available at the Town Office Building. Starter kits also are available there for those who want to use them. Success occurred on the opening day as one and a half Blue Earth Compost bins were filled!
