On Sat., Sept. 15, 2018, the Haddam Killingworth High School Varsity football team defeated Coginchaug/East Hampton/Hale Ray in Higganum with a final score of H-K 30, C/EH/HR 6. Zach Kauffman scored on touchdown runs of 12 and 4 yards and Dalton Brown had two of the Cougars’ four interceptions to lead H-K (2-0) over the visiting co-op of Coginchaug/East Hampton/Hale Ray (1-1). Dalton Modehn and Tobey Callender added touchdowns for H-K. Tyler Garretson caught a 21-yard pass from Aaron Faiella for the Blue Devils’ only score.
