(March 24, 2023) — This sweet little guy is about two years old and is thought to be a Schnauzer/Poodle mix. When he came to New London Animal Control, as a stray who was never claimed, he had been half shaved, but still had some serious matting on his legs and tail. Â He had a nice spa day and is now a handsome guy if I do say so myself.
Right now he is a bit nervous with new people, but once he warms up, he’s a ball of energy and fun. Didymus weighs about twenty-five pounds and is not neutered or vaccinated. He is doing really well with his potty training, seems good with a canine sibling, and did okay with the office kitty. A home with older kids and someone who can brush him often would be great to help prevent that nasty matting he had with his fur. Whoever adopts this guy will need to have him groomed regularly.
