(January 2, 2023) — Here’s a special story to start the new year. This little man has overcome so much in his young life of seven years. He has so much love to give. Rudy is a Miniature Poodle, ten pounds, up-to-date with shots, microchipped, and has just been neutered.
This poor boy has not had a name until now. You see he came from a Puppy Mill and has no idea what it is like to run in grass, receive and give love, feel the warmth of a home of his own, or play. He wants so much to try and thanks to Almost Home Adoption he will now have that chance to have the best life. He was named Rudy because he glows when he sees you coming – it just melts your heart.
He has been fully groomed and now you can see his beautiful deep rust color. As with most dogs from puppy mills, dogs like Rudy, have never received veterinary care, therefore all but three of his teeth needed to be removed, but it does not stop him from eating soft food for nourishment. He is a healthy and sweet boy who will be the most amazing best friend you will ever have.
He does not know any commands, but now that his life has just changed for the better, he will be the bright star he was meant to be.
