(January 3, 2023) — The Middlesex Hospital Vocal Chords, under the direction of Samuel Tucker and accompanied by an orchestra, is looking to expand their tenor and bass sections. No auditions are necessary, just a love of singing and a willingness to make a commitment to the Vocal Chords family. Rehearsals begin January 17, 2023 at 6:45 p.m. at Msgr. Fox Parish Hall, St. Francis Church, 10 Elm St., Middletown, for our upcoming concert on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.at Portland High School. New members will be accepted through January 31st.
This community-oriented group has been entertaining audiences for 32 years with lively concerts showcasing a variety of musical interests. Currently, our 85 members hail from all parts of Connecticut and all different walks of life. It’s the love of singing that brings us all together. You do not need to be affiliated with Middlesex Health in order to join.
