I have lived in Clinton with my wife and two children since 2003. I have served as President of Clinton Youth Football and as a volunteer coach in the Harry Swan Little League and Park & Rec Youth Basketball program. I have served as Chair of the Clinton Town Council for the past three years and before that on the Planning & Zoning Commission and Board of Assessment Appeals. I am currently a member of the Clinton Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, the newly formed Clinton Athletic Hall of Fame and served as past President of the Connecticut Mortgage Brokers Association.

Chris Aniskovich (R)

If elected, I think the most critical issues facing our state are growing the economy, promoting job growth, protecting our coastal resources and education. I have seen first-hand the impacts of the pandemic on small businesses and the struggles of working people who are confronted with uncontrolled inflation. Investments in our communities that promote growth and job creation and keep our towns affordable are essential. We also need to do everything we can to address the impact of climate change on our coastline. The state must partner with towns to make real investments in coastal resiliency efforts. There needs to be open and honest communication among parents, teachers and administrators as to how we educate our children with the understanding that it is the child who is most important.

Protecting families and the rights of parents will always be a priority for me in Hartford. I will work to make our town and our state a safer and more vital place to live and work. When all is said and done, it’s about people, not politics, for me.
