[KILLINGWORTH, July 11, 2019] Local Haddam resident and professional dog photographer Jennifer Zapatka, owner of With Love & Oats Photography, is teaming up with the Connecticut Photography Studio in Killingworth to offer beautiful dog portraits in studio, as well as launching a special passion project focused on love and social justice.
With Love & Oats offers outdoor, on-location sessions in Connecticut and New England. Beginning on July 26, studio sessions will also be available to capture stunning, modern images in a controlled indoor setting. Jennifer, owner and photographer, will then guide dog owners through the process of turning those beautiful images into artwork for their homes. She specializes in wall art and album design and handles all the ordering and delivery for her clients, making the process simple and fun.
Jennifer’s passion project, called the “With Love & Dogs Project,” is focused on creating images of dogs that share messages of love, hope, kindness and equality, using chalkboard signs and a simple studio set. The goal of the project is to spread messages that matter, with subjects who best understand unconditional love. Clients can bring their dogs in for studio sessions and choose to add a few extra minutes for their dog to pose with a sign for this project. Jennifer plans to create an exhibition of these images in the future, and hopes to also turn the project into a book.
Signature Studio Sessions will be held on Fridays at the Connecticut Photography Studio in Killingworth. This studio is a beautifully renovated barn with easy parking and a nice grassy area for dogs to use before entering the studio. Jennifer is thrilled to be teaming up with Adam and Christy Coppola of Killingworth, who transformed their barn into an incredible photography studio that can be used by other photographers in the community.
With Love & Oats Photography works to create customized, fun and professional experiences for clients who love their dogs like family. The business began in 2017 and serves clients all over Connecticut and New England. It is named after Jennifer’s dog, Oats, an 8 year old yellow labrador retriever.
