Jeremy Jordan

By Connecticut State Police

(December 7, 2022)—On December 5, 2022, at approximately 8:57 a.m., personnel from Troop F responded to a business located on Industrial Park Access Road in Middlefield for a report of an active disturbance. Investigating Troopers were advised that an employee of a business had allegedly struck another employee with a motor vehicle in the parking lot in an intentional and reckless manner. The employee allegedly struck by the vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment. The injured employee advised troopers that they had been struck while attempting to prevent an employee who had resigned their position from taking a company vehicle. According to the injured employee, the employee who had resigned, identified as Jeremy Jordan (DOB 10/17/1981) of Norwalk, had been offered alternate transportation prior to driving away from the area in the company vehicle.

After conducting a thorough on-scene investigation, Troopers developed probable cause to arrest Jordan. Jordan was contacted by phone and agreed to meet with Troop G Troopers at a location in New Canaan. Jordan arrived at the prearranged location in the company vehicle, was taken into custody and subsequently transported to Troop F in Westbrook, where he was processed and charged with the following:

C.G.S. 53a-60 Assault in the Second Degree,
C.G.S. 53a-63 Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree
C.G.S. 53a-119b Use of Motor Vehicle Without Permission
C.G.S. 53a-182 Disorderly Conduct

Jordan was later released on a $10,000.00 surety bond and is scheduled for arraignment at Middletown Superior Court on December 22, 2022.
