(March 14, 2023) On Saturday, 03/11/2023, at approximately 9:40 p.m., Troop H in Hartford was contacted by Cromwell Police after they had responded to a report of an injured adult male on West Street in Cromwell.
The injured male had communicated to Cromwell Officers that he had been injured in a shooting incident. The 18-year-old male had sustained apparent gunshot wounds and was subsequently transported to an area hospital via ambulance with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. Detectives from the Central District Major Crime Squad have assumed the investigation which is in its very early stages.
