Find a Fur Baby: Charmin – American Eskimo Dog

Submitted by Judith Levin.

Little Miss Charmin!

My name is Charmin and I am a female American Eskimo dog approximately 5.5 months old and weigh 15 pounds.

I was found as a stray with a microchip. I spent some time in the shelter. Animal Control contacted my owner who said she would pick me up but never did…so I am looking for a new family that will love me and take care of me.

Let’s see, the best way to describe my personality – hmm – Dopplegänger: Gidget from Secret Life of Pets. Super bubbly, curious, makes friends easily and I love my foster brother although he is oblivious to my adoration.

I do have a high energy level so no regular coffee for me – strictly decaf.

I AM Chief Mischief Maker and I’m sticking to it.

Expert In: Playing. Fetching. Toy squeaking. Dish towel stealing. Games of chase, keep away and tag. Exploring. Blanket burrowing.
I am super sweet, outgoing and kissy with never-ending curiosity and love for life.
My Talents: Sit. Down. Come (with treats).
I am working on: Come (without treats). Stairs, and Leash walking.
Cats: Sure but must have a high puppy tolerance.
Dogs: 100%. Another playful and confident dog friend would be best.
Kids: Sturdier kids preferred.
Housebreaking: ehhh, not quite but coming along.
Crate trained: Yep!
Must Haves: A family dedicated to socialization with people and other animals, mental stimulation and activity, regular grooming and training.

Charmin is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She is available for adoption to residents of CT and surrounding states. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application on One More Dog Rescue site: omdrescue.org

Let’s get this girl her forever home.
