(June 20, 2022) Connecticut State Police Troop F, firefighters, EMS, and Life Star responded to a serious motor vehicle accident on Route 154, Saybrook Road, in Essex, at around 1:50 a.m. today.
Two people were hospitalized after their vehicle crashed into a tree and caught fire.
One individual was taken to the hospital by Life Star and the second individual was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Route 154 was temporarily closed to allow the State Police Accident Reconstruction Unit access to the scene.
