Boys Tennis 2023: HKHS Loses Close Match to Cromwell 3-4

(April 17, 2023) —The Haddam Killingworth High School Boys Tennis team lost a Shoreline Conference match played at Watrous Field in Cromwell on April 14, 2023. “Eddie ran into overwhelming opposition today from Cromwell’s #1 Singles player,” said Coach Rod Pakus. “If he plays at that level for the rest of the season, he has to be the Conference Tournament favorite. Bryce Leiberman played a solid match for us,” added Pakus, “and our #2 doubles team of Ezekiel Stevens and Saige Merwin moved up to the #1 slot and did a great job, We did well today and I eagerly look forward to match play with our complete roster after players return from vacation.” Individual match scores are as follows:
