(April 17, 2023) — The Haddam Killingworth High School Girls Tennis team hosted Cromwell on April 14, 2023 and endured a 5-2 loss, with all four singles matches decidedly going to Cromwell.
HK also lost in the first doubles slot, A. Gollarney/A. Mueller (CR) d. A. Burr/B Ortega (HK) 6-2 6-0. HK’s Catherine Nguyen and Avery Maxwell defeated H. Cecunjanin and A. Cela in a grueling three hour battle, 6-2, 6-7, 6-4 at number two doubles. HK prevailed through forfeit at number three doubles. The girls will next face Lyme/Old Lyme at the HK courts.
