(July 13, 2022) — Faith Ann Hoynoski of Higganum graduated Magna cum Laude from Western New England Univeristy with a BA in Communication/Public Relations Concentration. She also graduated with a minor in Business.
The University held its undergraduate ceremony on Saturday, May 21, 2022. More than 450 students received their degrees. The top fields of study were Mechanical Engineering, Sports Management, Criminal Justice, Psychology and Accounting.
In his remarks, President Robert E. Johnson referred to the resiliency and toughness demonstrated in the midst of the pandemic. “Your hard work and dedication over the past four years exemplifies your strength, your courage, and your character,” he said. “You are the essence of possessing an agile mindset with the ability to learn, unlearn and relearn.”
Western New England University is a private, nationally-ranked, comprehensive institution with a focus on preparing work-ready and world-ready graduates. Founded in 1919 in Springfield, Massachusetts as a division of Northeastern College, WNE’s 215-acre suburban campus serves more than 3,700 students, including more than 2,500 full-time undergraduates.
