It is with great sadness that we are saying good bye to Tracy Thompson. Tracy has been with us since 2016. In that time she has become a very familiar face around the Town Office Building. Tracy will be transferring to the Town of Portland the middle of June. Please join me in wishing her well.
Due to this loss, the Tax Office finds its self-short staffed during this busy time of year. I will do my best to keep the office open as much as possible, especially during lunch when we are very busy. Please call if you are coming during lunch to ensure I will be open. I should be in the office for 8:30 most mornings. There may be the occasional morning I have to bring someone to or from camp. I will make sure that on Monday I post on the town website, Facebook and Twitter pages when the office might be closed because of a schedule conflict.
The Tax Office will be closed June 28, 2019 to allow time to close the books and prepare for the upcoming fiscal year. I will also be closed July 1 and 15-16. Unfortunately these dates cannot be avoided. Summer can be a crazy time for working parents. Thank you for understanding and patience during this transition period. Have a safe and happy summer.
