(July 27, 2023) — Recently, Morina Restaurant donated pizzas to the Firefighters of Haddam Volunteer Fire Company. According to Olivia Drake, HVFC Information Officer, the firefighters had just completed an “exhaustive rapid intervention training (RIT) drill.” She reported they were all tired and hungry, so the pizzas were greatly appreciated.
Being a huge fan of local businesses and the HVFC, I decided that I would pay a visit to Morina’s. I could not resist after hearing how fabulous the food and service is.
Upon entering the restaurant, my husband and I were warmly greeted. We were seated at a cozy booth and given menus. After browsing the menu, which has a lot to offer, we decided to try their grinder sandwiches. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan and my husband selected the Italian Combo.
Both grinders were generous and very delicious! We each had a section to bring home with us for later.
Did we have room for dessert? Well, no, but that did not stop us from ordering something! We decided to take home a serving of their Tiramisu. It was so delicious that I wish I brought home two servings!
