(December 16, 2023) — Welcome to Neal! He is the new driver who will get you where you need to go in the Haddam Senior Van. He can be reached at 860–682–3301. Don’t forget to call at least 24 hours in advance; earlier is better for Neal to schedule.
The Senior Van is a service provided and funded by the Town of Haddam for seniors 60+ and/or disabled individuals. The van operates Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The service is available for any location within the Greater Middlesex County area. The van may be used for doctor appointments, physical therapy or any other medical appointment. You must call at least 24 hours in advance to arrange for pick-up.
In addition, the Senior Van travels to Walmart in Cromwell on Tuesday mornings for an hour of shopping. Seniors can request to be picked up at their home. Departure time may vary, depending on the number of pick-ups, or if the Van is needed later for a medical visit. A new service has been added. You can now have the Senior Van pick you up and bring you to the Senior Center for lunch or activities.
