A Busy Spring for Killingworth Boy Scout Troop 18

(June 27, 2023) — It has been a May and June full of adventures for Boy Scout Troop 18 of Killingworth, with more to come this summer.

From May 20 to May 21, 2023, members of Troop 18 hiked and camped a twelve-mile section of the Appalachian Trail, starting at its entrance into Connecticut at Sherman, and finishing in Kent.

From June 16 to June 19, 2023 members of Troop 18 toured historic Gettysburg National Park in Pennsylvania. They stayed overnight at Boy Scout Camp Conewago in New Oxford, Pennsylvania.

The Troop looks forward to a week at Camp Sequassen in New Hartford from July 23 to 29, 2023, and to Block Island August 10 to 13, 2023.

Troop 18 is accepting new scouts, ages 12-17.
