Shoreline Co-Op Girls Swimming defeated Waterford 103-65 on September 28 to extend their record to 3-2. High school swimmers from Haddam-Killingworth, Valley Regional, Lyme-Old Lyme and Old Saybrook combined to take first and third in the opening 200-yard medley relay and held the lead for the remainder of the meet.
Note from Coach Karam: “What we’re looking for at this stage is improvement in stroke technique, stamina and speed. The girls are working hard and it’s paying off with 37 personal best times so far this swim season.”
