As Deep River Democratic Town Committee chair, I strongly support Renee LaMark Muir’s reelection as State Representative. Experience matters.

We believe Democracy is fundamental to preserving our unalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; clean air, water and food; safe and inclusive communities; access to education and opportunity; and civil rights for every person. We proudly endorse Renee for reelection because of her unwavering commitment and strong experience in bringing our home town concerns to the state level. Values matter.

Renee is listening to individuals and small businesses, advocating in Hartford, and delivering results. Her legislative record reflects commitment to Deep River and District 36. Renee serves on the Judiciary, Planning and Development, and Public Safety and Security committees, and she delivers expert testimony to many legislative committees on important issues. Commitment matters.

She introduced legislation addressing school cellphone policies, a refundable child tax credit, school-meal funding, pesticide reporting and a climate-change superfund and co-sponsored legislation addressing aquatic invasive species and protecting Connecticut’s rivers and waterways, an issue central to protecting the Connecticut River Valley.

Renee hears us, works collaboratively and brings the concerns of our small towns to Hartford. Join me and re-elect Renee as our Representative!

Dorothy DeBernardo, Chair, Deep River Democratic Town Committee
