(January 13, 2026) — Chairwoman Pam Steele of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce has announced that the Chamber will once again offer its Professional Training and Development Program free of charge in 2026. The program will be conducted virtually via Zoom during April, May, and June 2026.
This long-standing workforce development initiative has trained more than 2,000 participants since its inception in 1986 and has earned numerous honors, including a Presidential Citation and The Governor’s Laurel Award.
“We are excited to once again provide these free professional development opportunities for individuals looking to strengthen their skillsets and advance their careers,” said Lorenzo Marshall, Workforce Development Director for the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce. “We are especially grateful to the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development for its continued support of this important program.”
Classes Offered Include:
- Strategic Leadership: Managing Yourself and Leading Others
- Social Media: Personal and Business Adaptation
- Google Sheets, Google Docs and Google Slides
- Career and Personal Coaching
- Money Matters/Financial Management
All classes are open to the public and available at no cost, with registration currently open.
