(October 3, 2026) — Join the Haddam Historical Society for a PowerPoint presentation of historic photographs of Haddam Neck from the archives of the Haddam Historical Society and the Walter Olsen Collection. The program will take place on Sunday, October 18, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Haddam Neck Congregational Church, 408 Quarry Hill Road, Haddam Neck. (For GPS, enter East Hampton CT 06424).
We will share stories of the Neck’s past intriguing and eccentric residents. Learn more about what makes this community unique. Did you know Haddam Neck once had an airport? Did you know paper was manufactured along Pine Brook? Did you know that the privateering vessel Sampson was based in Haddam Neck?
