(November 19, 2025) — On November 1st and 2nd, members of Killingworth Troop 18 hiked the last ten miles of the Appalachian Trail in New York State, starting in Pawling. The scouts used their survival skills and camped overnight in freezing weather at the Wiley Pavilion in New York just before the state border. The next morning the scouts crossed the Connecticut border and finished their hike at the first trailhead in Sherman.
