(June 14, 2025) — Do you like new adventures around town? Did your New Year’s resolution include getting more exercise? Or are you just up for something new? Brainerd Memorial Library is starting a new Hiking Club, and everyone is welcome to join in. The first hike, to be held on June 21, 2025, will explore Higganum Cove, Haddam’s crown jewel. Meet at the library at 10:00 a.m. and finish the hike by 1:00 p.m.
Regular exercise isn’t just good for your body. It’s also an important part of keeping your brain healthy. Get those legs moving with the hiking club, then feed your newly-energized brain with the library’s latest offerings.
