The most critical challenge facing our district today is the rising cost of living. From property taxes and energy bills to daily expenses, working families and seniors across Clinton, Killingworth, and Westbrook are feeling the pressure. To keep our community affordable, we must deliver real relief by protecting Connecticut’s 2017 bipartisan fiscal guardrails, expanding state Educational Cost Sharing (ECS) funding to relieve the burden on local property taxpayers, and advancing distributed power generation to lower energy costs.
My commitment has always been to people, not partisan politics. Bipartisan cooperation is essential to finding common ground and delivering practical solutions. By working constructively across party lines, I have helped secure vital state funding for our district and continued to be a passionate voice for change in Hartford. This results-driven, common-sense approach once again earned me the endorsement of the Independent Party of Connecticut for the 2026 election.
In a third term, I will continue to work to expand vocational and technical training for ourstudents, support local job growth, and partner with our towns on coastal resiliency and farmlandpreservation.
I will carry an authentic commitment to the best interest of our towns and residents, having actively served the community as President of Clinton Youth Football and a volunteer coach in the Harry Swan Little League and Park & Rec Youth Basketball program. As a Member and former Chair of the Clinton Town Council, and a former member of the Clinton Planning &Zoning Commission and Board of Assessment Appeals, I know that actions speak louder than words when it comes to public service.
I remain dedicated to serving as a strong, centrist voice in Hartford and will always work across the aisle to protect local control, grow our economy, and make our towns more affordable places to live and work.
