(September 24, 2026) — A referendum is being held today in Haddam and Killingworth on the proposed renovation of Haddam Killingworth High School and the following Yes/No question:
“Shall Regional School District No. 17, comprised of the Towns of Haddam and Killingworth, appropriate $151,900,000 for renovations and improvements to Haddam-Killingworth High School and authorize the issuance of bonds or notes ofthe District in an amount not to exceed $77,200,000 to finance the appropriation, or so much as may be necessary after deducting grants to be received for the project?”
Voting hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the following locations:
Haddam
Haddam Firehouse Complex, 439 Saybrook Road, Higganum
Haddam Neck Firehouse, 50 Rock Landing Road, Haddam Neck
Regional School District No. 17 Central Office, 57 Little City Road, Higganum
Killingworth
Killingworth Elementary School, 340 Route 81, Killingworth
