As Chester’s Selectman, I’ve worked closely with State Representative Renee LaMark Muir, and I continue to be impressed by her knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting Connecticut residents and its municipalities. I want a representative who listens to local officials, residents, and small business owners; who shows up when we need help; and who takes the time to truly understand complex issues before acting. That has been my experience with Renee.
Renee serves on the Judiciary, Planning and Development, and Public Safety and Security committees. Her effective legislative work spans public safety, education, government oversight, family affordability, and protecting the Connecticut River. Nothing beats real experience.
As an Unaffiliated voter, I judge candidates by their performance and experience, not their party. Accountability and responsible government aren’t partisan issues. I want a representative who asks tough questions, understands how state decisions affect local communities, and safeguards taxpayer money — and Renee has shown, time and again, that these are her priorities.
Whatever your party affiliation, please vote to re-elect Renee!
Pat Bandzes, Chester
