HHS Hosts “Croquet and Chardonnay” June 27th

(June 13, 2026) — The Haddam Historical Society will host its 8th Annual “Croquet and Chardonnay” fundraiser on Saturday, June 27, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Held at the beautiful and historic “Nestledown” at 268 Walkley Hill Road in Haddam, the event will feature multiple courts, including the famous Heartbreak Hill.

Heavy appetizers, wine, beer, and lemonade are included and there will be a Patriotic Hat contest for both men and women. The grand champion will win the coveted golden mallet. Red, white and blue attire is optional but encouraged.  There also will be a silent auction of exquisite items.

Join us for an afternoon of fun, food and fierce competition. $50 per person for members and $60 for non-members.  Tickets can be purchased at www.haddamhistory.org. The rain date is Sunday, June 28, 2026.
