(May 8, 2026) — On May 30, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Haddam Historical Society invites you to Colonial to Contemporary: 250 Years of Haddam Architecture, a special house tour celebrating the evolution of architectural styles in Haddam and Higganum.

Explore six distinctive buildings that span 250 years of design history. Highlights include a beautifully preserved Colonial-era home thoughtfully curated by its current owners and a striking Mid-Century Modern, Japanese-inspired residence known as the Treehouse. Additional stops feature a Greek Revival parsonage, a Carpenter Gothic church, a Second Empire home, and a charming Depression-era cottage, known as the “Dollhouse.”
