7:00 Program: Fire Ecology and the Future of Connecticut’s Forests
There was a fire in Cockaponset Forest in Haddam in Spring 2025. The Haddam Land Trust held a program soon after with a presentation and field walk of the burned area. We felt that the subject would be of interest to more people and once again will have DEEP forester Alex Amendola present the topic. Fire, especially controlled fire, can be a good thing for our forests.
