Winter 2026 Programs and Events at Haddam Historical Society

(January 3, 2026) — The following programs and events will take place in January and February 2026 sponsored by the Haddam Historical Society:

Winter Woolies Knitting Circle at the Thankful Arnold House Museum

Do you have a knitting or needlework project that has been sitting around waiting for you to finish it?  Join Beth Hartke to work on that neglected piece or to start a new one and enjoy the company of others with NO modern-day intrusions.  Registration is required, since space is limited.  Admission is free. Winter Woolies will meet on Sunday, January 18, 2026 and Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Thankful Arnold House Museum, 14 Hayden Hill Road in Haddam.

Haddam Neck in Pictures

Join the Haddam Historical Society for a PowerPoint presentation of historic photographs of Haddam Neck from the archives of the Haddam Historical Society and the Walter Olsen Collection. We will share stories of the Neck’s past intriguing and eccentric residents. Admission is free. This program will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2026 from
2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Haddam Neck Congregational Church, 408 Quarry Hill Road, in Haddam Neck.
