Spectrum Gallery Holiday Exhibit, “The Art of Dreaming,” Opens November 21st

(November 7, 2025) — With the holidays approaching, Spectrum Art Gallery presents The Art of Dreaming. This season, find imagination, memory and hope especially alive as this exhibit explores the boundless world of dreams—where fantasy, romance and the surreal converge.

Discover fine art and photography by established and emerging artists, alongside the Artisans Store filled to the brim with holiday items and seasonal gifts such as pottery, glass, fiber, jewelry, home décor, paper art, and handmade ornaments displayed on Spectrum’s two six-foot holiday trees.

Start the holidays right at an Open Gallery Reception on Friday, November 21, 2025 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Enjoy fine art, crafts, wine and refreshments that evening and all throughout the Open House Weekend, Saturday, November 22, 2025 (1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.), and Sunday, November 23, 2025 (1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.). The Art of Dreaming runs through January 10, 2026.

Spectrum Gallery, voted Best Gallery and Best Jewelry Store on the Shoreline, is located at 61 Main Street in Centerbrook. Regular Gallery Hours are Wednesday-Saturday (12:00 Noon-6:00 p.m.) and Sunday (12:00 Noon-5:00 p.m.). Between December 6, 2025 and December 24, 2025 Spectrum Gallery will be open Monday-Saturday, 12:00 Noon-6:00 p.m. and Sundays 12:00 Noon-5:00 p.m. Hours on December 24, 2025 are 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
