(August 3, 2025) — Mike France is planning a big announcement on Thursday, August 7, 2025. In an email sent to Republican Town Committee (RTC) Chairs, he shared, “I have been strongly considering another campaign for Congress in CT2. Seeing the success that common sense Republican policies are having for our nation…has inspired me to build on the success of past campaigns and look at taking one more shot at turning Eastern Connecticut red.” He elaborated, “Our district deserves a Congressman who will fight for our common sense Connecticut values; who will vote to cut our taxes; and who will vote to enforce the immigration laws our nation.”
The Second Congressional District includes all of New London County, Tolland County, and Windham County, along with parts of Hartford, Middlesex and New Haven counties. Principal towns and cities include Haddam, Enfield, Norwich, New London and Groton.
All interested town residents are invited to hear France speak at the upcoming Haddam RTC meeting on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Haddam Firehouse, 439 Saybrook Road, Higganum.
