(June 5, 2025) — Ada Pach of Haddam was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Robotics Engineering at commencement ceremonies at Widener University held May 13-15, 2025. Graduates from the School of Business, School of Nursing, School of Engineering, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Health and Human Services, and the Center for Graduate and Continuing Studies individually crossed the stage and were congratulated by President Stacey Robertson as they received a symbolic representation of their degrees.
Robertson spoke at each of the ceremonies, sharing personal reflections on four fundamental principles she advised would serve graduates well in a world that is rapidly transforming through artificial intelligence and global reach. She recommended that they be curious, demonstrate persistence through hard work, practice mindfulness to be fully present, and approach life with humility.
“Do these things,” said Robertson, “and I have every confidence that you will not merely navigate the changing world, you will help shape it for the better.”
