(August 27, 2026) — The University of Rhode Island celebrated more 4,000 of its newest alumni during the University’s 2026 Commencement. Approximately 3,800 undergraduate degrees and 900 graduate degrees were conveyed to students during the ceremonies which took place this past May.
Among the graduates were:
Rhianna Phipps of Haddam—Bachelor of Arts, Criminology and Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Arts, Psychology
Julia Thelen of Haddam—Bachelor of Fine Arts, Theatre
Tori Carlson of Higganum—Bachelor of Science in Animal and Veterinary Science
Grayson Norman of Higganum—Bachelor of Science in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences
Nicole Goosen of Higganum—Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Ashley Duncanson of Killingworth—Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology
