HKYFS Announces “Week of the Young Child”

Submitted by Allison Behnke, HKYFS

(March 17, 2025) — Each April, communities around the country celebrate their youngest children and families to honor and recognize the Week of the Young Child. This year, Haddam-Killingworth Youth and Family Services is proud to share that organizations around the Haddam-Killingworth community are partnering to offer a series of fun activities and events.

The HK Week of the Young Child is recognized between April 12, 2025 and April 18, 2025 to allow kids from birth through school age to attend during school break. The theme this year is “HK Unplugged for Wellness,” a year-long initiative encouraging families to unplug, connect, and enjoy time together.  Please visit www.hkyfs.org/event/ for more information and registration for all events.  All events are free of charge.
