March 17, 2025 – Club 60 and the Haddam Senior Center welcome Superintendent Jeff Wihbey from Regional School District 17 to present the proposed 2025/2026 school budget. This is a great opportunity to hear what is being proposed for the important referendum scheduled later in the year.

Every Month:

Mondays and Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. and Fridays 11:00 a.m. – Mah Jongg.  Do you play? Do you wish you knew how? They say once you start, you can’t stop! We are always looking to expand our Mah Jongg experience, so if you are curious about what this game is about, stop by and check it out. If there’s enough interest we will schedule a beginners class to teach the ins and out of this intriguing tile game.

Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. – Cards! We’ve got cards all day! Do you play Setback? Five Crowns? We’ve got you covered. Drop in and test your wits with some fun-loving “card sharps/card sharks.”

Thursdays at 11:15 a.m. – Mobility with Jennifer is a fun and engaging mobility class taught by Jennifer Gawlak of Fitness with Jennifer. This is an all-abilities class that goes through a wide variety of exercises to help improve strength and mobility, all while listening to your favorite tunes.

Fridays at 10:00 a.m. – T’ai Chi continues with Tom Cushing from Centering Arts T’ai Chi located here in Haddam. Tom has been training in the martial arts for thirty years and teaching for the past twenty-three years, and we are excited and fortunate to have him teaching at the Senior Center.

We also serve a hot lunch every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday for a donation of $3; $4.50 for meals marked “Special.” If you have not checked out the hot meals lately, I strongly encourage you to do so. They are delicious and nutritious.
