A Busy February Already for HVFC

(February 4, 2025) — The Haddam Volunteer Fire Company has responded to two motor vehicle accidents and two vehicle fires during just the first few days of this month. At 1:45 a.m. on February 1, 2025, crews were dispatched to Turkey Hill Road in Higganum for a vehicle fire.
At 9:10 p.m. on February 2, 2025, HVFC responded to Route 9 South between exits 13 and 10 for a two-car motor vehicle accident. Four people involved in the crash were evaluated on scene and transported to Middlesex Hospital via Haddam Volunteer Ambulance and Chester Hose Ambulance.
At 11:10 a.m. on February 3, 2025 crews responded to Saybrook Road near Town and Country Nurseries in Haddam for another vehicle fire. (Photo above by Mike Mancuso)
And at 3:45 p.m., on February 3, 2025, HVFC was dispatched to the intersection of Gunger Hill Road and Arkay Drive for a two-car motor vehicle accident. Three people involved in the crash were evaluated on scene and one child was transported to Middlesex Hospital via Haddam Volunteer Ambulance.  (Photo above by Olivia Drake)
