Killingworth Lions Offer Service Achievement Award

Submitted by Laurie Kumnick

(February 3, 2025) — The Killingworth Lions have announced that applications are now being accepted for the 2024-2025 Service Achievement Awards. These are cash awards of up to $2,500.00, made to Killingworth graduating seniors who, in our estimation, best exemplify the word Service.

To be eligible, you must be planning to continue your education in a four-year college, two-year college or technical/trade program.  This award is based primarily on community service, demonstrating a commitment to the Lions motto, “We Serve.”

For comprehensive information on eligibility criteria and to access the application form, visit the school Guidance Office, our link https://thelakehousect.com/klc_award_application.pdf or contact Laurie Kumnick at lckumnick@aol.com  Applications must be submitted by April 1, 2025.
