(January 30, 2025) — The Haddam Historical Society is kicking off its 2025 kids schedule with a heartfelt program. Actually, it’s a felted-heart program!
History lovers ages 5 to 12 are invited to the Thankful Arnold House Museum on Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. to watch history come alive as the Second Sunday Fiber Artisans spin natural fibers into yarn. Next, attendees will try their hand at the historic fiber art of felting as they create a take-home Valentine’s Day craft. A light snack will be provided; please advise us of any food allergies. Free for 2025 Kids Members and $15 for non-members.
