The Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 11th year of the Side Street to Main Street Minority Business “Know-How” Program. Sponsored by Eversource Energy, Business “Know-How” is designed specifically to assist minority small business owners in the community, who have not had formal business training, to become more successful by developing the attitudes, skills and qualities necessary for effective business ownership management, taking them from the Side Street to the Main Street of the business community.

The Side Street to Main Street Minority Business “Know-How” Program reflects the kind of community program that we are proud to support. For ten years, this program has provided a successful pathway of opportunity to hardworking individuals pursuing an entrepreneurial path and following their dreams.” Business “Know-How” consists of four intensive entrepreneurial instructional sessions over a nine-week period, and is offered free of charge to eligible minority participants. Virtual Class sessions will be conducted online via Zoom and are scheduled on Tuesday Evenings: 6:15 –10:30 p.m. on the following dates: May 24, June 7, June 21, July 5, with a Certificate of Completion Presentation Ceremony on July 19. All participants will need a Video Camera on a Desktop/Laptop Computer, or an Android/Apple Tablet/Phone. An Internet connection speed of at least 5Mb/sec and sufficient data plan is required to participate.
