UR Community Cares Program Seeks Volunteers and Donations

(November 13, 2024) — Do you want to bring joy to your life? Bring joy to the life of another.

Volunteer for a new Social Service Program in Killingworth. UR Community Cares has been given start-up funds from the Town, Sun Community, Emmanuel Church and St. Lawrence. More donations are need for a one-time security check and insurance for each participant.

Volunteers will be helping over-70 or disabled residents with house or yard work, transportation or companionship. You can select a job from your computer and indicate when you are available.

UR Community Cares has been adopted by more than fifty Connecticut towns, as well as  the Clinton Police Department.
