Worm Day is a fun day dedicated to vermicomposting. The event is from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2019, here at the UConn Extension Center, 1066 Saybrook Road, Haddam. The event is also open to the public.
There will be lectures on composting with worms and on invasive earthworms. If you would like to start a worm bin, there is a $5 fee. You must supply the worm bin. We supply the worms and bedding.
